POF.com review

POF.com (Plenty Of Fish) is another online dating site that’s supposedly in the top 5. So we’ve taken the time to review it after numerous members claimed it is “ugly and a scam.”

Honestly, the front page is not very inviting. It is a bit dull and somewhat unprofessional.  The front page not be pretty but it seems kinda fun. It offers you more ways to view members and you can take full advantage of the features. POF.com is customized regularly. That is good news for members because there’s always new features. Members might not be matched by a good matchmaking algorithm but they are matched according to their what they specify and how they browse the site itself.

Dating pool:

POF.com is very popular and it’s regularly visited. It seems this site is attracting more people in their 30’s than okcupid.com. The amount of members online, never exceeds 50 000 individuals. This number is then broken down into men, women and your state. According to some of the statistics, POF.com has about 100 million users worldwide with another 3.5 million worldwide active users.

Profiles:

The profiles on this site is pretty standard. You may add a few personality tests which includes the “Relationship Chemistry Test.” There are also various personality types which you can choose from.

The verdict:

This site might not be worth your time and money. There are numerous fake profiles and some members do not even fit their profiles. The personality types might help you to identify someone interesting. The only thing is that members put themselves in the wrong personality type or the other information is inaccurate. Between the fake profiles and fake information, you might find it difficult to find someone worthwhile.
